Colour Lovers

Talk about a happy accident! I was searching for something in Google and one of the results was this site called Colour Lovers. It came up as a result because one of the user names partially matched my search. I'm so glad it did - this is a very cool site...and I love the fact that they spell colour "correctly" ;)

The site is described this way:
COLOURlovers™ is a resource that monitors and influences color trends. COLOURlovers gives the people who use color - whether for ad campaigns, product design, or in architectural specification - a place to check out a world of color, compare color palettes, submit news and comments, and read color related articles and interviews.

You can search for color palettes, find what's trendy and much more.
Take a look

I just heared your comment about the way Colour is spelt over on Photoshop User TV Episode 137.
I feel you pain also, I am originally from Wales UK and since I moved to Florida 8 years ago, I have had to relearn the English language as well as the spelling of certain words.
Here is a small list of differently spelt words which you are probably aware of, is the UK version the same in Canada also.

US Version UK Version
Aluminum Aluminium
Color Colour
Center Centre

This is a list of other words I have used quite frequently and got strange looks for, yet this list of words are used to describe the same thing.

US Version UK Version
Hood Bonnet
Fender Wing
Trunk Boot
Rim Wheel
Muffler tailpipe
Station wagon Estate
Sedan Saloon
Convertible Cabrio
Dryer Tumble dryer
Vaccum cleaner Hoover

There are a lot more, but these are the ones that immediately spring to mind.
I sympathize with you on this subject.
Anyway keep up the great work.
all the best
