At 3am Sunday December 7th, my Dad peacefully passed away. I will be traveling to Canada today.
I have been overwhelmed by the number of comments and messages I have received. Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers.

I lost my Dad two years ago and it is a tough thing especially in the beginning. One of my favorite stories about my Dad was when I was about 8, my folks gave me a train set for Christmas. On Christmas Eve my Dad started laying out the track on the table telling me that Santa asked him to do it because when he arrived he wouldn't have enough time. Christmas morning I got up and there was my train setup all completed and my Dad had gotten us each a striped Lionel train cap to wear.

Dave, If you father was anything like you then we've lost a treasure for sure. I've had the fortune of attending several of your seminars. While you've always covered material in a thoughtful and fun approach, I think your warm and humble personality gives your audience the feeling we are all among friends. We've met and talked a couple of times when you come to Richmond, Va. You're a good guy and I'm sure a lot of that can be contributed to your father and upbringing.
