Contest time!

Planet Photoshop Contest
Over at Planet Photoshop, Corey Barker has launched at interesting monthly contest. Each month 3 past tutorials will be chosen. To enter the contest, watch the tutorials and create an original piece of work, inspired by one or more of the selected tutorials, and submit it to Planet Photoshop. (Corey also asked me to pass on this suggestion: don't just follow along the tutorial and submit the same result, experiment a little and see what you can come up with, based on the tutorials)
There will be different prizes each month, and the first contest - which ends January 15th - is for a pass to Photoshop World, a book and a DVD!

HDR Photo Contest
Until January 31, software maker Ariea will be accepting entries in a contest for the best photos processed with HDR MAX. To participate, download the free trial of HDR MAX, process up to three photos, and submit them.

After the deadline, all entries will be reviewed, and the winners will be contacted and announced on their site.

PRIZES
* 1st prize is a new 15" MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
* 2nd and 3rd prize is a free copy of HDR MAX.
