Thursday Fix It Challenge #6

Here we go agan with another Fix It Challenge where anyone who feels so inclined can download the provided image, fix it and upload there results to our Flickr Group.
Before we get to this week's challenge, let's look at last week.
This was the before image:

From all the excellent entries I chose this one from Loopsta.
Here's the description of what they did: "Masked out the old sky, quick select did a decent job with some minor intervention. Some curves adjustment for color and overall tone. Borrowed some contrast from the other channels using apply image with a luminosity blend mode, used a couple of soft light layers to balance the light out. Did some hand painting on the sign to get rid of the flare and even out the colorand cloned a few of the lamps.

Probably spent about an hour and a half ..maybe a touch more but it was a fun edit so i didnt mind too much. "

Here's my 20 minute fix. I select the sign and duped in onto a layer, then painted the sky behind to lose some of the glare. Then I duped the sign again and used Multiply mode to darken it up. I was going for the later in the day look but decided to leave the small bands of light. Since I do my version before looking at any entries, I know realize I should have gone more in Loopsta's direction. Oh well, that's what makes this fun!

Here's challenge #6, a photo I took of a model a couple of weeks ago that could use a little lovin' touch.

Don't forget, If you have a photo you'd like to submit to the challenge (and not just old restoration projects), please email it to photoshop fixes at hotmail.com (remove the spaces)

Click on the small photo to see and download the larger version. "Fix" the photo and then upload your results to the Flickr Group. Please include with your photo a brief description of what you did and how long it took - that way I don't have to try to track down the details later.
There are no "rules" as this is just for fun so use any tools, additional photos, plug-ins and techniques you want - just include a brief explanation of how you did it :) You can fix, restore, alter, improve, retouch, change, or anything you like. Okay, there are two rules: only one entry per person please, and tell us how you did it :)
Deadline: Next Wednesday at noon EST.
Have fun! Tell your friends ;)
