One of the possible drawbacks of using Shadow/Highlight is that a slight color shift can occur. To avoid this, change to Lab mode, click on the Lightness channel and then apply Shadow/Highlight.
Extra tip: to see your image in color while still working on the Lightness channel, press the tilde key (~).
