Houston Rockets game

I'm in Houston for a few days and yesterday had a unique/great opportunity: one of my contacts here managed to snag me a media pass to a Houston Rockets game. So there I was, sitting cross-legged at the end of the court, in awe of how fast these guys move, and occasionally remembering to take a shot.
Here's two from that adventure...
PS. Yao Ming IS huge!

Hi Dave, I just recently started following your blog after I joined NAPP a few days ago. I'm glad you got access to the sidelines of the NBA! I shoot for the Los Angeles Clippers so it's always nice to see/talk to other photographers. I'll be heading out to the Photoshop for Photographers tour in LA this Wednesday. Just wanted to drop by and say hi.

Where you shooting with your Nikon? I bet you were the only Nikon. I'm loyal to Nikon but it seems Canon has the edge in sports and low noise.

I was definitley the only black Nikon lens in a row of black & white Canon lenses...

Hi Dave!
I recognize the photo, you messed with it while showing your tutorial on the recent PS TV shows.
Well, thanks to you I finally decided to start my blog as well, I mentioned about that in one of the first, opening posts there.
Hope you have time to take a look.
Keep up good work!
Greetings from Europe!
