Here's a quick way to change the opacity or blend mode of mutliple layers: first change one layer to the blend mode and/or opacity you want. Then Control click (PC: Right click) and from the pop up menu choose Copy Layer Style. Then select the other layers, Control click (PC: Right click) and from the pop up menu choose Paste Layer Style.
Although the command copies and pastes the layer style, technically "layer style" also includes opacity and blend modes.
