"It's time once again to ask a well-known photographer, instructor or otherwise interesting person the same 10 questions and ask them to Finish the Sentence! This week the sentences are finished by.... Rick Sammon.
Rick, please Finish the Sentence..."
My favorite photography accessory (lights, modifier, bag, tripod) is
my Bogen tripod... since I got into HDR, big time!!!
I’ve learned the most from..
Julieanne Kost and from attending Photoshop World.
If I could go anywhere in the world it would be_____ because….
The Chilean Fjords because.... it's one of the few places I have not photographed.
My most-used Photoshop add-on, plugin, action set (etc) is
Photo Tools from onOne Software
I love the fact that Photoshop
is fast and can do anything I can imagine
I hate the fact that Photoshop
does not let me use any Scripts or Photomerge or Merge to HDR.....for some strange reason! Help!!!!!
If I could turn back the clock 10 years
I'd work out more.
In 10 years
I hope to work out more.
If I could give one piece of advice it would be
read Bird by Bird by Ann Lamont. Read it and you'll see why it applies to learning Photoshop.

I'm so jealous. I love how you (Larry) shared the do what you love thing. I work in a factory by day and play creative geek every other waking moment just to try to find a way to make a living out of it. (I love Florida BTW - it is cold in Ohio today)
Like you I "dislike" the Adobe upgrade options. I wish I could get Lightroom in a suite. For what I can tell there is no advantage to paying full price for Lightroom after spending $600 to upgrade my Design Premium package.
Dave,
This comment is not related to the subject of your latest post but ...
I have just spent some time with the "Barber Shop Quartet Textures" CD I purchased a while back. Why it has taken me so long to view the videos on using the textures with CS3 I don't know but I am once again so impressed with your skill and your ability to explain all things Photoshop.
In that one video I learned at least 3 new ways of getting things done in PS. Just the shortcut of resizing a photo to match another by selecting the first photo's name in the "Window" pull-down was worth the CD price. A true "Aha" moment for me. I almost slapped my forehead at how simple something can be when explained by a master.
The textures will come in even handier now that I am trying to do more with presentation of my photos in slide shows.
Thanks again, Dave. You da' man.
im just commenting to say thanks for everything you tought to me thanks
As you can tell, these comments were from the original Larry Becker post that I messed up.
