As pointed out by Sherry London in the latest Photoshop User magazine, you can warp a shape and still keep the vector quality. Simply add a shape layer then use Command T (PC: Control T) for Free Transform. Then click on the Warp button in the Options Bar and warp away! Hit Enter when you're finished warping and it's still a shape layer in all its vector glory!
