Recent Photo Shoot

I hadn't posted any photos in a long time, so here's a pic from a recent photo shoot in Houston. Playing around with Photoshop and the split toning function in the latest Camera Raw. Shot late afternoon, natural light with one remote SB 800 flash. 70 - 200mm VR lens, on a tripod of course to be able to get the 2 shots lined up.

edit: as someone pointed out, this was actually taken with the 18-200 VR lens. Oh, and it's one model, in case it wasn't obvious.

Great work Dave... I saw a tutorial of yours on this technique recently. I must give it a try...

Beautiful work! Wonder if you used 18-200mm VR lens. I checked the file info from Photoshop CS2 on your recent sepia picture of women that you took in Houson, TX? You said that you used the 70-200mm VR lens.

Hi Dave,

Not a problem.

Anyway, I am not sure if you remembered me? I was the only deaf guy at Photoshop World in Las Vegas. It was in 2005. I was sitting next to my close female friend up front where the sign language interpreters sat in different directions interpreting Scott Kelby's presenation at the keynote. I remembered that you sat not far from where we are at.

Since few weeks I wanted to reach you because I felt flattered that you wanted to be a fluent with sign language. I read it from one of your interview. After I read it, it absolutely made my day. I like hearing people who are eager to learn sign language. Keep up with your goal!

I admire your excellent photoshop tutorials and learned a lot of new things from you.
