TIP: Train the Quick Selection Tool
In Photoshop CS3 the Quick Selection Tool works pretty darn well most of the time (it's actually quite amazing). You can improve its chances of success by "training" the tool: hold down Option (PC: Alt) and "brush" over areas you do not want selected, then use the tool to select the areas you want.

I'm with you Dave... I think the Quick Selection tool is fantastic... I use it far more than I expected to. And thanks for the tip, that should help even more. Keep up the great work.
