Finish the Sentence...with Scott Kelby

[cue the cheesy game show music]
"Each week we'll ask a well-known photographer, instructor or otherwise interesting person the same 10 questions and ask them to Finish the Sentence! This week: Scott Kelby

Scott, please Finish the Sentence..."

My favorite photography accessory (lights, modifier, bag, tripod) is
My Really Right Stuff BH-40 Ballhead. I can't use any other ballhead (except of course for their BH-55 ballhead, for when I using a really large lens).

I’ve learned the most from..
Practice

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be_____ because….
Corfu, Greece, because as a 19-year-old I played keyboards in a disco band there for a summer, and I really want to go back, see the place again, and shoot it with digital.

My most-used Photoshop add-on, plugin, action set (etc) is
Noiseware Professional for removing high ISO noise.

I love the fact that Photoshop
Has such depth that you never feel like you've hit a wall where Photoshop just "can't do it." I always feel like no matter what I can imagine, Photoshop can do it. I may not know how to do it (which is often the case), but that's my limitation---not Photoshop's

I hate the fact that Photoshop
doesn't have a more modern interface. Most filters and most dialogs pretty much still look like they did 15 years ago.

If I could turn back the clock 10 years
I would have embraced digital earlier.

In 10 years
Noise in digital cameras will be a thing of the past.

If I could give one piece of advice it would be
try and use Photoshop to finish your photos---not to fix them. Learn to get it right in the camera and your Photoshop life will be much easier.

Dave...I love this "finish the sentence" bit you are doing! Who would have thought Scott played keyboard since he apparently has a thing for Zildjian cymbals.

Can't wait to see who your next guest is - how about Matt Kloskowski? I would love to see how he finishes the sentence. Maybe you should ask him, "When Scott picks on you it makes you feel..."

Great blog Dave - I look forward to reading it daily.
